Multimedia, a digital video solutions provider, today announced support for
Windows Mobile for their HAVA-line of video streaming and place- and
time-shifting devices giving consumers more options when choosing how, when and
where they view their home video and TV content. On the go users are now able to
view and control their home TV from their Windows Mobile phone or handheld
computer.
The Monsoon HAVA can stream video from any video source including live TV, DVD
players and TiVo, to any broadband connected, Ethernet or Wi-Fi enabled PC,
Notebook or Windows Mobile-based device.

HAVA for Windows Mobile:
- Remote access to HAVA device
- Enables full remote control and channel changing capabilities of any TV
source such as Cable, Satellite, DVD or TiVo.
- Supports Windows Mobile 5.0 for Pocket PC, Pocket PC Phone Edition and
Smartphone
- Streams MPEG-4 video to Windows Mobile-based devices with screen
resolutions of 640x480, 320x240 and 240x240 pixels in landscape or portrait
mode
- Connections supported include Wi-Fi, EVDO, UMTS (3G), USB Tethering and
Bluetooth connections

their home video and TV anytime they choose and from anywhere they happen to
be," said Vadim Dagman, CTO at Monsoon. "Our support for Windows Mobile
powered devices is a great addition for our customers who can now view local
news, a home DVD or catch the latest game all on a single portable device."
The Monsoon HAVA Wireless HD enables the PC to operate as a PVR with pause, fast
forward, rewind and record functions and allows TV content on the PC to be
stored and burnt onto DVDs. PC users running Windows XP Media Center Edition and
Windows Vista can utilize the HAVA Wireless HD as a TV tuner to add full
multimedia capabilities to their PCs.
Monsoon licenses HAVA's reference designs and software to large OEMs. The HAVA
